What is Family Integrated Care?
Parents are the primary caregiver for their infant to be involved in all possible aspects of the infant’s care (e.g., feeding, diaper changes, bathing). This also involves giving oral medications, tracking growth and progress, decision-making, and taking part in medical rounds.
